I had intended to write this piece a few days ago. Unfortunately, spending a long weekend camping in a field directly under the landing path for the adjacent East Midlands Airport, pausing only to rock and drink a volume of cider you’ll later come to regret, tends to leave you feeling a tiny bit beaten [...] For those of you who like your sport to contain the odd bit of handbags at 10 paces, yesterday’s press conference exchange between Jarno Trulli and Adrian Sutil will make wonderful reading. Jarno is still more than a little upset over their coming together in the Brazilian race a couple of weeks ago, in which Jarno [...] Del Amitri had the right idea. If every third car was a cab, there might be a bit of overtaking, though the pit stops for fuel, tyres and a newspaper might not be that compelling. Then again, if it’s a choice between that and the Singapore Grand Prix, it might be worth taking the Daily Star [...] |
